“Independence Day” is one of my favorite movies. Yet I was always bothered at the end. Sure, the humans won but man, what a mess. All those cities gone. Ships crashing everywhere. Mother ship debris raining down all over the place. You’re talking one major dump. Nice to see kids at Carnegie Mellon noticed that too. I love the computers in the clip, which is from 1996.

My only complaint is the inclusion of the Voyager ship, the lamest of all Trek shows. Should have had the Defiant in there. I also would have had some Shadows. And the White Star. And a Y-Wing or two. Maybe three. And that moose-looking ship John Boy flew in Battle Beyond the Stars. Yeah, that’d rock!

I do think it is a little odd that Buzz Aldrin waited so long to talk about this. Perhaps it was a desire to return to the limelight again before living out his final years. Perhaps what he says is true. Either way, there are documentable facts surrounding the Apollo 11 mission to the moon that go unexplained, and someone knows the Truth.

Having seen a UFO in broad daylight myself, I tend to believe him.
