I’ve long been a devouted believer in Jimi Hendrix, having read many books and collected all of his recordings and most of the bootlegs. I am convinced this man was an alien sent from somewhere else with a mission of changing rock music forever.

If you have never seen a live performance of Jimi Hendrix, do yourself a favor and watch this video 3 times. His live abilities are considerably different from what you hear on the radio. Not only was Hendrix a pioneer of studio recording, but he had an entirely different aspect to him live. I’m not a big fan of the lineup that played Woodstock with him, and much prefer the original Experience, but this video nonetheless is kickass.

Isn’t it nice when Mother Nature remind us how feeble and insignificant we are?

This guy makes Jackie Chan look like a wimp. Half of me wonders how one person can be this dumb, and half of me is envious for having the guts, let alone strength, to jump off balconies. Either way, the acrobatics are pretty amazing.

Vova and Olga are teenage siblings from Russia. They have been blowing through the worldrecords in numerous categories of juggling. Be sure to check out their home page, where a sense of humor is evident in lines such as:

“In 1947 the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics’ (USSR) Genetic Engineering division of the ministry of defense initiated a top secret project to create a juggling team unsurpassed in the known and unknown universe, specifically in the United States, the final result of which came 57 years later in the form of Olga and Vova Galchenko.”
