Being a drummer, I often find myself tapping out beats on whatever common objects happen to be around me. Some sort of rhythm is always running through my head, and it tends to manifest itself subconsciously through my feet and hands until my wife tells me to stop making that annoying noise.

So this video hits close to home for me. It’s quite amazing and must have taken a lot of meticulous editing to perfect what you are about to see and hear.

Cake is one of my all-time favorite bands. The way they deliver their music makes you think, dance, sing, and go “oh man that’s insane”. Well, it does for me anyway.

I have never had the privilege of seeing Cake live, but thanks to the Internets, I can do this vicariously through our treasured Youtube service.

This two-song video is well directed and sounds great. It’s from a pop fest in Europe as far as I can tell. Enjoy.
